Who You’re Working With
Founder Vikelas Carey is a designer and a business owner who leads a small team of developers and specialists. He has run operations, sent the invoices, and felt where software helps a business and where it just gets in the way. Every project starts with a plan: how your business works today, and what it will need as it grows.
The whole standard is in the name. Tekavra comes from four old roots. Two meanings, one intent.

The Standard
Most of what gets called “web design” is assembly. A template dragged into shape, plugins taped together, a login held on with hope. It works until it doesn’t, and it was never really yours.
We work the other way. We plan and build your website and the software behind it with intention, one piece at a time. Nothing ships unchecked. Every part earns its place.
That’s the whole standard. A clear plan, practiced hands, real tools, and the belief that something built with care should last and be worth owning. We hold every build to it.
The Founder
Hi, I’m Vikelas Carey, founder of Tekavra. I chose the name with a lot of heart. I’ve run operations, I’ve sent the invoices, and I’ve felt firsthand where software helps a business and where it just gets in the way.
Our goal is to transform the tech world for the good of mankind. Profit comes second. For the people I work with, that starts small: tech that saves you real time and real money. That’s why every project begins with a plan for how your business runs, where it’s headed, and what it will need when it grows. I lead every build with a small team I trust, and we hold it to one standard, whether it’s a local shop’s website or a full software platform. Every system is built so you can understand it.
We get so caught up in this world, rushing through things, trying to make our way and survive. But we were created to just be. I want what we build to make this world easier to just be in. Built by the people, for the people.
We stay small enough to care about the details, and serious enough to ship real software from start to finish. When you work with Tekavra, you’re a person we know, not a number in a queue.
How We Work
Craft isn’t a mood. It’s a method. Three things hold on every project, from a one-page site to a business’s whole operating system.
Before we write a single line, we listen. To the business, the way work moves, and the thing that’s actually breaking. The brief you arrive with is rarely the real problem. We find the real one, then build for that.
The part customers never see decides whether the whole thing holds. The data, the logic and the back office come first. Then we design the screens on top of a system that already works. Never a pretty shell with nothing behind it.
Work comes in one of three shapes: a fixed project with a set outcome and price, a phased build that grows in stages, or an ongoing retainer where we stay with you and keep improving what we made. Start where it makes sense and grow as you need to.
